Cenk hosts TYT. ISIS has carried out another beheading of a Western prisoner. In this case, it was a Scottish man that traveled to offer aid and assistance to people in need. They also showed the next man on their list, a British man. Lindsey Graham angrily fearmongers on Fox News Sunday, claiming that if we don’t take care of ISIS with a ground component, we will all die here in America. He is frustrated that no one has been listening to him and John McCain’s plans on how to deal with terrorists. There are reports that the Syrian opposition that Graham wants to arm have signed a peace agreement with ISIS, so that they can collectively take out Al Assad. John Kerry tells Bob Schieffer that we are at war with ISIS, but not at war with ISIS. Fox News’ Elisabeth Hasselbeck interviewed a Texas sheriff that claims ISIS is crossing the U.S/Mexican border. Hasselbeck asked if they are prepared to “drown us in our own blood.” The sheriff later said that he will send their ugly heads to hell, and that we should bomb them so much that they will urinate on both legs when they hear an airplane over them. TYT revisits a clip of George W. Bush talking about how he looked into Putin’s eyes and saw his soul in Slovenia. Cenk talks about what he would do about ISIS if he were in charge in the 1st edition of “The Uygur Maneuver.” Republicans in Congress have a 72% disapproval rating; the worst of all elected officials. Despite this startling number, they are still poised to win the upcoming midterm elections. Cenk explains how this is possible. Alison Lundergan Grimes’ latest political ad against Mitch McConnell shows her skeet shooting while claiming she is not Barack Obama. Cenk dismantles this weak ad. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. The latest updates on the Adrian Peterson arrest for beating his son with a switch are given. Cenk goes into what he thinks the rules of spanking a child should be. Charles Barkley spoke about it, claiming that all Southern Black families do this. Startling stat: 90% of Americans use corporal punishment on their kids. Actress Daniele Watts was detained by LAPD under suspicion of prostitution after someone called them to the scene, claiming that lewd acts were going on in the car between her and her boyfriend. Cenk is primarily annoyed by the person that called the police on the couple in the first place. While Kanye West was performing in Sydney Australia, he forced the entire audience to stand up before he continued the concert. When the last two people didn’t stand, he sent his security team into the crowd to confirm that they were handicapped. After he caught criticism, he said he’s a married Christian man, so they should leave him alone. One of the writers for Orange is the New Black realized that she is a lesbian, so she divorced her husband and fell in love with one of the actresses. Urban Outfitters is in hot water for their bloodstained Kent State sweatshirt, in reference to the fatal shooting at the university in 1970. Their apology included that they are saddened it was mistaken for a bloodstained shirt in reference to the massacre. An 8th grader was forced to take off her “Virginity Rocks” t-shirt at school so that it wouldn’t open up an uncomfortable conversation about sex.
